Perhaps we should focus more on the people that allow their wolf-based opinions to be shaped by a Liam Neeson movie.
Don’t discount The Grey because of it being advertised as a typical Liam Neeson action movie. It’s anything but that. It’s the most emotionally draining movie I’ve seen in a very long time, and deals with death more directly than any movie I have ever seen.
People are all up-in-arms about the wolves being unrealistic in the movie, but they’re not supposed to be realistic. They’re presented in the movie as a literal embodiment of fear and hopelessness.
